Back Room
We’re not too sure what Martie does. She hides in a little room at the back, behind a closed door and rarely comes out. She’s amazing with a slide rule, though, and no slouch on the abacus, either. Sometimes, she brings her wicked-mean dog to work and chains it to her desk. It has something to do with keeping her accounts-receivable in order. Whatever. Staff don’t fool around when she asks for accurate and detailed time sheet/job cost updates, that’s for sure.
Easy now, nice doggy…
